Our church strongly believes that God has called us all to impact the world beyond our local community.
As a church, we are involved in changing the world by supporting many missionaries overseas. Also, many of our congregation members personally support a huge variety of missionaries and missions projects.
As well as this, our church regularly sponsors and runs missions projects that our people get involved with on the ground.
In 2013, we raised over $40,000 to build a house in the WATOTO orphanage in Uganda. We sent a team of close to 20 people, who spent a week in Africa building the house itself. These people personally raised several thousand dollars each for their travel costs, in addition to the money raised by the church. The result was a house in the orphanage that will be involved in rescuing and raising many, many children in the years ahead.
Also, in 2013, numbers of other people from our congregation participated in personal short-term missions trips.
In 2014, a group of people from our church headed over to the Phillippines to help with the typhoon disaster relief. This again is a project that our people funded and sacrificed to spread the love of Jesus to needy people.
